OU Releases 2002 Football Schedule
Alabama Added To Lineup

NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma football team will play Alabama in Norman next season, one of six home games. OU officials released the 2002 schedule on Thursday.
As part of a home-and-home agreement with the Crimson Tide, the Sooners travel to Alabama in 2003. Other nonconference home games include Texas El-Paso and South Florida.
OU opens the season Aug. 31 at Tulsa and then is home for three games against 'Bama, U-TEP and South Florida.
The Sooners open conference play Oct. 5 at Missouri and then are in Dallas the following weekend to play Texas.
OU is then home for back-to-back conference games against Iowa State and Colorado. The Sooners are then on the road for two weeks at Texas A & M and at Baylor.
The Sooners close out the home schedule Nov. 23 against Texas Tech. OU's regular season finale will be Nov. 30 in Stillwater against Oklahoma State.
