Fire crews in Yukon, Mustang, Midwest City and Choctaw are dealing with brush fires on Tuesday, and several of those blazes are now affecting metro homes.

Firefighters have been called to a fire near Interstate 40 and Frisco Road, in Yukon.

In Mustang, fire crews were called to an area north of Highway 152 and Sara Road. Mustang fire officials have called in Oklahoma City and Union City crews for help.

Firefighters are also battling blazes in Choctaw, Midwest City, southeastern Oklahoma City and Ponca City as well. Officials have reported damage to buildings, and are asking residents near these areas to evacuate. That call for evacuation is not mandatory at this point, merely advised.
